Pond Iris

I haven’t dabbled in water colors for awhile. The pond iris is in full bloom right now. For a change it wasn’t raining this afternoon. So outdoors I went. Parked myself on the deck with water colors and sketch pad and this was the result. It felt good just to be outside after a week long marathon of bookkeeping chores. Too bad a girl has to work between stints at the easel!!
