As a child I loved to spend hours on a swing. Day dreamer that I was! To this day I consider flying threw the air on a swing, “A Favoured Pastime”. In my world this scene is idyllic. Available for $45 plus shipping

Very nostalgic, Susan. I swing a little, still, with my Granddaughters, but it is not the same, alas. I can’t go so high without feeling dizzy! Ha! Oh the pleasures of youth! I like the sweet feeling of this painting and how you designed that yellow line leading to the swing and the encircling flowers.

Yes, it brings back many happy memories of flying up to the leaves and sky. The path of red flowers leading in is brilliant too.

Wonderful Susan. When we moved into our current house there was a old rope swing, just like yours, hanging from a large oak tree in the backyard. A beautiful feeling in your piece!
