A quick sketch today. I managed to produce this one in about one hours time. Recently my Brother, Sister and Mother took a trip to Long Beach on Vancouver Island. A life long dream of my Sister’s fulfilled. While there she took many photo’s and video’s which she has since shared with me. Of course I was immediately inspired. In my quest to practice more with water colors I bought myself a nice new set of Holbein Water Colors. What do you think? Have they helped me?
Thinking of my Sister this day. Enjoy! Susan Feniak
What a beautiful place, Susan! I do like those beautiful blues you used for the waves in this! I have never tried Holbein but have heard good things about them from some others who have used them.

Thank you Leslie. I was pleased with the Holbein water colors. I was tempted by Windsor Newton but will wait.

I like the white froth on the waves. I can feel the movement of the waves. I have a few Holbein watercolors and like them as well as the Winsor Newton.

Thank you Kathi! I was tempted by Windsor Newton but settled on the Holbein. Perhaps one day I will be good enough for Windsor Newton!
