Thoughts of Spring

After my last painting “Winterized” and rather wintery weather in our part of the world I decided it was time to turn my attention to “Thoughts of Spring”. While out for a walk early last spring I took countless photos of Magnolias coming into bloom. This painting is from that walk. I have been waiting for just the right time to put brush to easel and paint the glorious blooms. Hope my “Thoughts of Spring” brightens your winter day!
Please remember comments are always welcome. Cheers, Susan Feniak
We have some great magnolia trees here too, and I happen to have taken a pile of snapshots too … Next time the creative well goes dry, I will dip into them like you. 🙂

Thank you Tim! I am pretty sure everyone could use a touch of spring in January. We still have snow and won’t see real spring for a couple more months.

Good for you with these thoughts. I am gearing up to shovel again as we have more snow to hit us tonight. At least it warmed up for this next one! Your magnolias are a promise and I love them! Beautiful sky behind them, too!

Thank you Leslie! I am tired of shoveling snow too so a bit of spring and thoughts there of should help with the chore!

Nice thoughts…we can only hope that spring will be an early one this year……or is it a sin to wish time away? (-:
