My latest painting, from a photo I took late last summer along one of my favourite places to walk, Raven Trail, Salmon Arm, B.C. Canada. My home town. The trail meanders along the foreshore of Salmon Arm Bay. It is a nature preserve and bird sanctuary. Sights to behold whilst walking the trail are a beaver dam, and den, assorted wild life and wild fowl that include swans, grebes, geese, blue herons, and last summer a flock of white pelicans visited there. Hope you enjoy the view and get a sense of what a beautiful spot this is from my painting. Cheers, Susan
Really lovely.

Oh Susan this is a wonderful painting, the light and shadows are superbly done. Not easy to do. I want to walk right into the painting and down the pathway.

Very nicely done Susan. Love the light filtering through! It’s a lovely scene and reminds me of areas around our lake.

Thank you! It is a great boardwalk to walk on. There is a beaver dam off to one side and at the end it open up into a panoramic view of the lake and mountains.
