The Blue Heron speaks for himself. An elegant and normally shy elusive bird this one liked to visit us while at our marina in Sicamous a couple of summers ago. I have been meaning to do his portrait ever since.

Marvelously fluffy bird and the water looks so inviting :-). I haven’t seen one in Calgary yet this year. I liked seeing them often in Vancouver – so zen when they look out across the water. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.
