#worldwatercolormonth July 14 peas in a pod original art by Susan Feniak koi watercolors on moleskine. Because this was painted while sitting on the aft deck of our boat this morning, hubby thought I should name it Peasfull. Funny word play and why not?
Have any of you checked out the swag related to #worldwatercolormonth? I have and ordered a couple of treats as momento’s of this water colour filled month! Check it out!!
Beautiful greens! Love the painting and play with the words dear Susan!❤️

Mmm fresh peas from the pod, nothing like sitting with a bowl and podding, then eating them. Great watercolour, I could eat those easily 😀

Cool. Then maybe I can ask you for advice? I’m growing them again this year. Last year I might have picked them too soon cause they were really tough. When do you pick and how long should they be cooked for? Thanks Susan.

Peas pick them when the pods are still green smooth and fat or full looking. Easily over cooked. Like corn. Freeze raw. And right away. Best advice I can think of at the moment.
