As a child I was treated to a brand new bike of my very own, once. It was a beauty. I loved that bike. A very quick sketch while taking a break from work this day. Hope you are having a lovely Sunday. PEACE

This is so good, it has oodles of nostalgia, in a whimsical way…..I like that all important basket on your first bike, mine had a bag attached to the back, it was called bianca and it was purple, also my first ever brand new bike…..did yours have a name?

Aww that is a nice comment and sweet story. I don’t recall my bike having a name. No doubt I played horse on it and on those occasions it would have a name. 🙂

Thank you Kerfe. I have just learned bikes are hard to draw. Learn something new every day.

Sweet memory. Brought a memory of my blue bike. I rode everywhere on it. Back in the day when it was safe to do that.

Nice, Susan! I’ve always had the belief that bicycles are difficult to draw, but you’ve made it look easy. I shall have to conquer my fear now! Good memories.

I didn’t know until a few minutes ago that bikes are supposedly hard to draw. Guess one can conquer what they don’t even know??? It is a bit wonky. Nothing is ever perfect. Cheers Tom
