Being a retired florist and avid gardener I love all flowers but if I had to pick one it would have to be tulips. Perhaps because to me they signify the end of winter and the coming of spring. After a long winter warmer sunny days are always welcomed by me. Cutting bundles of tulips from the garden and having vases of them about the house, bliss!!
For this #WorldWatercolorGroup sketch I did not pre-draw anything preferring to keep everything where the paint brush took me. One thing led to another so splattering and smiles ensued. My pink tulip is in the middle of a spring rain. That’s my story and I am sticking to it. Original art by Susan Feniak. Holdbein Artists’ water color on Strathmore 140lb cold press paper.
I will be on hiatus for most of the month. But I will try to catch up whenever possible. Have fun!! Cheers. PEACE
Lovely Susan! Enjoy your break! 💕🌈🎨💐

This is pretty, love the splatters! I didn’t realize you were a florist, that is so neat! I like that this month’s challenge is helping us learn a little more about each other. 🙂

This is so pretty and I didn’t even realize flowers was the prompt for today but I haven’t really been following the list anyway. Here I am coloring out of the lines again
Hoping your hiatus is a vacation. Enjoy!

I wasn’t really following either. Time issues. Prompt may even be a day off. 🙂

Spring rain looks great from here! Lovely thoughts, and painting!
My favorite flower …toss up between a Hydrangea and a Peony. I doubt I could paint either as well as you your tulip.

Thank you so much. Hydrangeas and Peony’s are both gorgeous flowers. Good choices.
