“Beach Ball” #WorldWatercolorGroupPosted: September 4, 2016
“Beach Ball” was the prompt for #WorldWatercolorGroup today. Here I have a standard beach ball, nothing special. I was a muck about with a bucket and shovel kind of kid. My favorite bucket was blue. I made many a sand castle with it and my white shovel. Beach balls had a tendency to float or blow away. Watching it bob off into great deep dark depths that one couldn’t possibly swim to was rather stressful. I am sure many a tear has been shed over the loss of a prettily colored beach ball. Ergo mucking about with my bucket and shovel. Lifting rocks to see what was under, finding stray sand dollars or sea shells. The idyllic day at the beach for this kid. Oh and a lot of swimming. There was none of that laying on a towel sun bathing stuff happening for me. Cheers! PEACE
