I rarely if ever cook these babies. You may ask, why? And I will answer, I have a husband that refers to them as noxious green golf balls. These days to get Brussels Sprouts into our diet I grate them into salads. No one notices that. Cheers! PEACE

Noxious green golf balls… hehehe! I must admit, Susan, I’m rather fond of Brussels Sprouts, but I’ve never considered eating them with a salad.

Brussels Sprouts are excellent in salad. Like cabbage. I think they are both best raw.

I only eat these at Christmas if they’re made with with fresh chestnuts, butter, and sugar.
Your painting is lovely though!

Looks great. What a clever way to get them in the diet. I like to roast them with other veggies in the oven in oil.
