“Bicycle ” #worldwatercolorgroup

The prompt for April 20th is “Bicycle “.  Since I just did an acrylic painting of “The Blue Bike”, (which by the way was a bike I once had) I decided that I would do a very quick sketch of a red trike pretty tassels and all that I had as a wee girl.  Being the youngest of three getting a new bike was special. Usually everything was a ” hand- me-down”.  As a youngster I was always outside. Rain or shine. Any bike or trike I got was literally ridden into the ground. Worn out. I went threw more shoes and flip flops then any other kid on the block. My knees were always bloodied with bits of dirt and gravel embedded. Was I happy? You bet! To this day I enjoy riding a bike. Pure joy is flying down a hill with the wind blowing in your face. Freedom.

I loved being outside as a kid too! 😊 Love your tricyle!! ❤ I used to collect old tricyles and make planters out of them! 🚴‍♀️
