“Snails” #worldwatercolorgroup

“Snails” April 27th. A snail from the garden was kind enough to let me sketch his home.  However he was a little bit shy when it came time for me to do a portrait of him. Fine by me and I was actually thankful he was shy. If you know what I mean. Original art by Susan Feniak. Holbein Artists water colors on Strathmore cold press paper.  6″×6″  #worldwatercolorgroup

  1. I’m glad he didn’t end on a plate 🙂

Lovely! We had snail races in France when my family used to go. We’d put them on the picnic table in lines and watch them move…at a snail’s pace. Snails are so cool! (Good to eat also, with some nice garlic sauce and a baguette). N.

My grandson held a snail race recently. As for eating them I remain skeptical. I will admire them from the outside, for their shells. Those are amazing. Thank you Nina.
