“Picnic” # WorldWatercolorGroup

“Picnic” April 30th. Wow where did April go? Anyone else find it hard to believe we will see May 1st tomorrow? Today’s prompt had me thinking that it isn’t really picnic weather here as yet. But this spot seemed inviting to me when I thought it up. Near the water and all. Perhaps we could find a kite to fly too. Original art by Susan Feniak.  Holbein Artists water colors on Canson Aquarelle 12″×15″ paper. #WorldWatercolorGroup

  1. Stop it! You tease too much. Long cool drinks yesterday and now Picnics on the beach. With our current spell of cold weather you are just twisting the knife. 🙂

      • If I am being honest I have to admit to being ‘weather’ influenced. That and the fact that this year just has been odd to say the least. We have had no real winter, all rather mild, then a wet spell that went on for several weeks. Then mild again with spring starting to come in a rush, all followed by 3 weeks where the we had record high temperatures (eating out on the patio was great) and now seasonal record lows, bitter winds and looking out the window it would seem that winter is on the way back.

Spring still hasn’t arrived here. Winter was bitterly cold and longer then usual. So I really do understand how you feel. The trees have just begun to leaf. The tulip bulbs I planted last fall froze solidly and since I see no sign of them I assume they perished. Remaining optimistic is my only option at the moment. It would seem I am overly weather influenced. Hope things improve for you too.
