Made by Golden. I bought 6 basic colors. The cadmium Yellow is on back order. Because there was an awesome sale on at Opus, I also received 3 free tubes. You can see the results in my first quick painting using only the magenta, Chinese white, oxide green and nickel azo yellow. I will be sharing more…. Original art by Susan Feniak. QOR water color on Canson Aquarelle paper. I am saving the new hot press Arches for special paintings. #worldwatercolorgroup

Yes Debi and thank you. I could tell that right away the azo yellow is going to be a good addition. Even tho it seems dark at first glance. I know I am going to enjoy the QOR paints. Bright and bold color at last!

I really like Arches Hot Press paper. I use mine sparingly too. 🙂 I haven’t tried the Qor paints, but have heard good things about them. I’m not the prolific painter you are so I have a harder time justifying to myself I need them when I have so many other watercolors to use already.
Your flower Lily? is so pretty! I thought of a Stargazer Lily when I saw it.

Thank you Deborah. I suppose it could be a lily and even better a stargazer which is a favorite. I just wanted to try the new water colors and didn’t think about the flower. 😊 silly me.

Not silly at all! It may look like something else to someone else, but it’s a flower, and a pretty one at that. I think for me it’s the colors and shape that say Lily. Keep in mind I often mix up Lily’s and Iris in trying to name them. 🙂

Thank you again. At least we can tell it’s a flower! That’s a very good thing. 😉😊💕 I say the colors and shape do indeed suggest lily. 🎨👏

🙂 That’s something I would say, but every thing you paint looks like it is what it is meant to be.
