Great image….yep that is summer of memories. At least with my more modern electric powered mower I can still enjoy that authentic fresh mown smell of cut grass. 🙂

I can hear the swishing of the blades as my dad used this type of mower to cut our lawn. 👏

I also love the smell of freshly cut grass, Susan… sometimes, it affects my hay fever which I like not as much, but I still like the smell! We used to have a mower like that years ago – with a little basket that could be clipped onto the front. I like how you’ve captured the motion of the blades.

Thanks Tom. I remember this mower from my younger years. It was often my job to mow my parents lawn. More often then not the blades needed sharpening. I probably beat the lawn! All fond memories. I am an outdoor person hay fever or not.
