Watercolor and ink on Strathmore paper. I don’t recall ever seeing a gathering of Great Blue Herons. The ones we see are loners. One has to assume they gather somewhere and sometime or there wouldn’t be anymore blue herons. Thinking out loud. Have a good week everyone.

I love herons, and I adore this watercolor. Like you, I’ve never seen herons gathering together, but isn’t it fun to imagine them this way?
