I had so much fun creating my last painting that I decided to do another floral piece. It helps that I have a beautiful bunch of sunflowers sitting on our table to inspire me. After this, I think that I will be finished with florals for awhile. It will be time for something else. I hope you enjoy my progress reports….
Artist Susan Feniak. Acrylic on an 18″ x 24″ gallery canvas. This one will be available when finished.
Is it just me, or do these flowers have a sort of “Art Nouveau” look, I think thats the period I’m thinking of, there were a lot of flowers and flourishes in design at the time. Early 1900s. I really like your use of yellows and reds in this painting.

Thank you Shawn. Perhaps the leaves have an art nouveau look about them. I do know what you mean. Something sinuous about them. I like to do my own thing. Original. Or hope so.
