Work or play? My newest in progress painting is on the easel. I am having fun playing with the light on the water and in the sky. As a rule, after the ground or base coat, I start from the furthest point away, usually the sky, and work my way forward. Right or wrong? I don’t know, it’s just how I’ve always done it. My imagination is working overtime on this one. This is also one of the biggest paintings I have done.
Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Acrylics on a 24″ x 30″ gallery canvas.
Nice costal scene, I really like how you captured the grass, and tree stumps sticking out of the dunes!!

Thank you. I have finished the painting now, hope you still like it.

I love that you included buildings in the background. They remind me of some sections of the Ottawa River. That lake sure looks inviting with its sparkling water. ❤️
