Recently my husband, Carey and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. To celebrate we went on a 21 day Mediterranean cruise. The trip of a lifetime.
The following photos are a very few of my favorites from our trip. I took a lot of photos so it has been difficult to edit them down. If you want to know more about our trip one can check out my Facebook posts. I tried to share every day.
We had a fabulous time and are grateful for the opportunity to see and learn so much about the places we visited.

A favorite sunset. We always took the time to watch the sunset.The MS Oosterdam our home away from home.Dubrovnik Croatia. Croatia is fabulous place. A must see.Ancient city walls, Dubrovnik. I love this photo from Venice. Ancient Olympia. This scene caught my eye in Ghania Greece.MeAthens, the Parthenon. Malta. This city is another must see. So much history. A Malta street.I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this doorway. Malta.Greco-Roman ruins. Messina Italy. Pompeii. Inside a wealthy merchants villa. Amazingly the frescoes and mosaics were preserved. Pompeii was buried under 20 feet of ash and debris when Mt Vesuvius erupted. Temple of Apollo, Pompeii. A must see for us was the Coloseum, Rome.The back of the famous Monte Carlo casino. We fully expected to see someone famous here.The Casino decked out for Halloween. The marina Monaco City.Our anniversary dinner, October 31 2025, Pinnacle Grill, Oosterdam.
More memories to share. Jean and I celebrated 50 in similar styles (plus a famoly party).. make every coming year equally as special. Each one a milestone.. we managed 58, each new year speial… I still feel a little cheated that the 60 golden day can now never happen. Take care of each other
Thank you David. I try to make every year, even every day special. Life is short. Taking care of each other is why we’ve made it this far. I am so sorry that 60 years wasn’t reached but 58 years is truly a milestone few reach. So many wonderful memories. And a lovely family shared.
