Finding solace in my art

I am fortunate to have my art. Since I started painting in 2009 it’s always gotten me through the tuff times in life. This week I found solace once again. Like taking small steps everyday to move on I started with small things like cards. I then moved onto a bigger canvas. I will share photos of that when I am done but I am sharing photos of the four cards I made. The cards are now available at Rikki Lou Who’s Gift Emporium downtown Salmon Arm on Alexander St.

World Watercolor Month Day 31

#WorldWatercolorMonth Day 31 prompt “Jewel”. Finale! Here are some of the gems I created this month along with one final card. I did it! Despite all that has been going on around here I managed to create 31 hand painted, one of a kind, greeting cards in 31 days. I hope you have enjoyed this month long celebration of Watercolor as much as I. Thank you to Charlie O’Shields at doodlewash.com for his idea to have a month long celebration of watercolor. This is the 6th year I have participated. It is celebrated by artists around the world. Truly filling the world with beautiful art. Cheers Susan Feniak
