December is a busy time for everyone. This year I made almost 4 dozen Christmas cards. About 1/2 of them sold the rest were sent out to family and friends. Today we had our first major snow event of the season. That meant we needed to shovel snow off our houseboat. And of course what is December without a visit with the jolly old elf himself. And yes I have been good all year. No wish list involved. Just my hope that everyone stays safe and healthy this Christmas. Cheers Susan Feniak

My husband and I enjoyed our ten days off. We spent our vacation on our houseboat at Robert’s Bay Provincial Park Shuswap Lake British Columbia. I took many photos. These are only a few. We are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful area of Canada. Proud to be Canadian! Especially during these challenging times. Cheers Susan Feniak

Posted: March 15, 2015 Filed under: Photos, Seaside, Uncategorized | Tags: Caribbean, Photos, Seaside 13 CommentsBack from my hiatus and am looking forward to seeing what you have all been up to. When I find the time of course. Here are two photos I took while away. The first one is a typical boat at Caye Caulker Belize. Oh that beautiful Caribbean. I feel a painting coming on!! And the second is of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. I couldn’t resist the angle or the light. Cheers, Susan
“Lifeline”
Posted: June 23, 2014 Filed under: Boating, Photos, The Shuswap, Uncategorized | Tags: Local artist, Shuswap Art, Shuswap Lake 6 CommentsWith this photo I am attempting to explain why there hasn’t been any new art posted by me on this blog for a long time. There hasn’t been enough hours in my day! Please allow me to introduce you to our new lady, “Life Line”. Hopefully I will be inspired and there will be time enough to get back to my easel soon. Looking at this photo my fingers are twitching. Longing to use a paint brush!
Don’t forget to go to the Summer Arts and Crafts Sale at the Red Barn in Sicamous, June 27th to July 2nd 2014. I will have four of my paintings on display there.
Cheers, Susan
