Day 9 World Watercolor Month

Day 9 World Watercolor Month and the prompt is Shadow Play. Tilda the pup looks a tad bewildered by her shadow. No doubt she will soon be pouncing on it and chasing it about. I am waiting to watch Tilda play with her shadow. Maybe her tail will be next?

“Fergus, playtime please.”

Fergus is looking for a little fun time! Won’t you play with him? I had my fun creating him. Cheers Susan. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolor and ink on Fabriano 8″ x 10″ paper. Unframed $30.

Lambing Time

Surely lambing time is a perfect sign of spring. This little darling is a quick sketch or doodlewash to celebrate yet another spring time event. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolor and ink on Opus Finest paper. Happy spring!

World Watercolor Month Continues

World Watercolor Month Continues! So far I have managed to paint something every day. They are all on my Instagram account. Sadly I have fallen behind here and on Facebook. Here is a smattering. Happy Monday!

The last of winter

We thought it was the last of winter until it snowed this morning. Thankfully it didn’t stick. Happy Easter! Artist Susan Feniak. Windsor Newton Cotman Water Colours on Strathmore paper.

Feverfew

I was trying for a delicate touch with these rather prolific garden flowers. Given half a chance Feverfew will take over a flower bed. Since they are pretty and make an excellent cut flower it’s not such a bad thing if you let them take over. Artist Susan Feniak.  Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors on Opus Finest Paper.  The last page of this sketch book. Perfect timing, new year, new book.

Happy 2018!

Wishing all the very best of everything for 2018! PEACE
