Cards and a work in progress….

It’s been a while since I have been able to post something here. We live most of the warmer months on our houseboat and there is a total lack of internet service. My data suffers! I hope everyone understands.

Here are photos of two cards I recently completed. Both are watercolors and ink on Strathmore card stock. 4″ x 6″.

The final three photos are the process and progress of my latest work in progress. I wonder if you can guess what flowers I am tackling this time? I will be sure to share the final edition. It’s acrylic on a 12″ x 24″ gallery canvas.

Cheers from the houseboat, artist Susan Feniak.

Happy Mothers Day

My sincerest wishes for a Happy Mothers Day! A special hug to my Mum. I made my Mum’s card bright and cheerful this year so that she could see it. And “Fidelma” flamingo helped Mr Stork recently. A very special Happy 1st Mothers Day to the new Mom.

Both of these cards are watercolor and ink on Strathmore watercolor cards 4″ x 6″. They are hand painted, original and one of a kind, by me Susan Feniak

World Watercolor Month Day 31

#WorldWatercolorMonth Day 31 prompt “Jewel”. Finale! Here are some of the gems I created this month along with one final card. I did it! Despite all that has been going on around here I managed to create 31 hand painted, one of a kind, greeting cards in 31 days. I hope you have enjoyed this month long celebration of Watercolor as much as I. Thank you to Charlie O’Shields at doodlewash.com for his idea to have a month long celebration of watercolor. This is the 6th year I have participated. It is celebrated by artists around the world. Truly filling the world with beautiful art. Cheers Susan Feniak

All 31 cards are original art by Susan Feniak. QoR watercolors and ink on Strathmore card stock. 4″ x 6″ Some have sold but there are many still available. Email Susan at sfeniakart@gmail.com

World Watercolor Month Day 29

#WorldWatercolorMonth Day 29 prompt “Carefree”. Busy time with no internet means things get rushed. But I wouldn’t want to miss one day of World Watercolor Month. Cheers Susan

World Watercolor Month Day 27

#WorldWatercolorMonth Day 27 prompt “Camouflage”. Our local great Blue Heron keeps himself well hidden in the long grass beside the water. Fascinating, unless he moved no one noticed him there. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolors and ink on Strathmore card stock. 4″ x 6″.

World Watercolor Month Day 26

World Watercolor Month Day 26 prompt “Focused”. A bit of needed humor today. Silliness and fluff. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolors and ink on Strathmore card stock. 4″ x 6″

World Watercolor Month Day 25

#WorldWatercolorMonth Day 25 prompt “Lost”. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolors and ink on Strathmore card stock. 4″ x 6″. This trio seem to think their Mama is lost. I decided to do a little something different for their surroundings. Hope you like it.

It’s still smokey from all the wildfires here. Including the one less then a mile from us. Color is welcome. Happy Sunday.
