Recently my husband, Carey and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. To celebrate we went on a 21 day Mediterranean cruise. The trip of a lifetime.
The following photos are a very few of my favorites from our trip. I took a lot of photos so it has been difficult to edit them down. If you want to know more about our trip one can check out my Facebook posts. I tried to share every day.
We had a fabulous time and are grateful for the opportunity to see and learn so much about the places we visited.

I love this photo from Venice. Ancient Olympia. This scene caught my eye in Ghania Greece.MeAthens, the Parthenon. Malta. This city is another must see. So much history. A Malta street.I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this doorway. Malta.Greco-Roman ruins. Messina Italy. Pompeii. Inside a wealthy merchants villa. Amazingly the frescoes and mosaics were preserved. Pompeii was buried under 20 feet of ash and debris when Mt Vesuvius erupted. Temple of Apollo, Pompeii. A must see for us was the Coloseum, Rome.The back of the famous Monte Carlo casino.
