#WorldWatercolorMonth Days 8 and 9. “Wing” and Gnarled”. The photos speak for themselves. I am combining the two into one because I was a tad busy yesterday. #WorldWatercolorGroup, #Draw a Bird Day, November 8. “Mallard Duckling” original art by Susan Feniak. The WorldWatercolorGroup prompt for today was actually “Cappuccinos”. Since I am not a coffee junkie I opted for Draw A Bird Day instead. This duckling is a Mallard. My inspiration is from a photo by Bill McMullen that I found in a Canadian Wildlife Federation calendar that arrived at our door this past week.

The Blue Heron speaks for himself. An elegant and normally shy elusive bird this one liked to visit us while at our marina in Sicamous a couple of summers ago. I have been meaning to do his portrait ever since.
