Trio

Three of my favorites Gretchen the giraffe , Sam the dog and “Why Me?” have all gone to a new home. This happened earlier in the month. They went with Trouble 2, Oh Oh 2 and Henrietta. They will all keep each other company. A good thing I have a lot of other favorites to keep me company.

Oh Oh! The second time around.

“Oh Oh!” Artist Susan Feniak. This is the second time I have painted Oh Oh. Once again this was a special request and has all ready sold. The original version of Oh Oh was a greeting card. Too small for the buyer. Not to mention I wasn’t sure if I still had the card in my inventory. So a new and bigger one had to be created. No problem. It is up to me to keep my clients happy. And I do try very hard to keep everyone happy. I hope Oh Oh makes you smile too. Daniel Smith watercolors and ink on 9″ x 12″ Fabriano paper. Mat to 11″ × 14″

“Henrietta”

“Henry” has a “Henrietta”! I couldn’t bare to part with Henry. He is part of the menagerie that hangs on our livingroom wall. So when someone asked if they could purchase Henry I said that I would try to create another one. That’s the story behind Henrietta and how she arrived. There can be no two Henry’s. He is truly a one of a kind. I am pretty sure the person getting Henrietta will like her as much as we like Henry. Watercolor and ink on Fabriano paper. Susan Feniak

Trouble 2

Have you ever done a painting that you or your partner couldn’t part with but someone else wanted to buy? That has happened to me several times of late. I find myself doing remakes. Wouldn’t you know it the remakes are more lovable then the originals. Or so it seems to me. Sometimes. Here is the new version of “Trouble?” Or Trouble 2. I do like this version as much as the first. Bonus. A commission a.k.a. special request. Watercolor and ink on Fabriano paper. SOLD.

Sunflower

The power was out for around six hours today. What does a girl do other then try to stay warm? She creates.

A special request

A young lady asked me if I could paint a husky for her. Here you are Makena. A husky. You can name him too. Cheers Susan

A thank you

This painting “Rob’s Boats” is my way of saying thank you to Rob at Three Buoys Marina in Sicamous. He has provided space for me to show my art in their office/store for the past three summers. As an artist I appreciate any opportunity given me to share my art. It’s all I want. Share my art and hope someone will like it and enjoy it. Rob likes my painting “Dan’s Boats” so this one is similar to it.
