It’s the first day of summer. After a wet, cold and generally crappy spring, I say bring it on. Let’s have a beautiful normal summer. Hopefully that isn’t asking too much of the powers that be.
Here are just a few of the summery paintings that I have available. All of these are acrylic on canvas. If you are interested in purchasing my art please email email@example.com Remember, I have many more paintings to choose from. My art is all original, I do not make prints.
Meet “Miss Paw-Lah”. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolors and ink on Strathmore card stock. 4″ x 6″. It’s card making time. Those of you that know me should know I love animals, in particular dogs. I enjoy using my imagination to create one of a kind paintings of dogs. Paw-Lah is straight from my head to hand to brush and paper. Well pencil first then brush and paper. I hope Paw-Lah brings a smile to your day.
My greeting cards are all one of a kind, original art. Buy one for a gift or keep it for yourself and frame it. Asking $10 cdn Hey they are hand painted! If you are interested please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Seaside Idyll is the tentative title for my latest painting. The photos are of my process and progress for the painting. For my inspiration I used an image taken by a friend of mine. Unfortunately she can’t remember where she took the shot. I do know it was taken somewhere in the pacific north west. Possibly a view from an area around or near Vancouver BC looking towards Vancouver Island in the distance or vice-versa. Regardless I found it an interesting view. When I spotted the 12″ x 36″ canvas I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. FYI This particular size of canvas is very difficult to get a good photo of!
Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Acrylics on a 12″ x 36″ gallery canvas. Asking $250 plus shipping. If you are interested in this painting or any of my other pieces please email email@example.com Thank you.
“My oh my!” My Iris painting is finished. It was a challenge with a few revisions and many hours spent at my easel. The reward? Well the painting itself of course and before I could finish it, it sold! Its always so reassuring to have someone love your creation enough to hang it in their personal space. See me smile? Thank you to the purchaser. I know “My oh my!” is going to a very good home.
Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Acrylics on a 20″ x 20″ gallery canvas. Because it has sold I can now buy more art supplies to do more art.
As we start a new year I would like to take a moment to thank everyone that supported me in my artistic endeavors during 2021. A special thank you to my peers. Becoming an active member of The Federation of Canadian Artists was the highlight of my year.
I am looking forward to 2022, optimistically and positively. Since I am now officially retired I will now have more time for art, blogging and social media. Look out!
Happy New Year! My very best wishes to you for a healthy, happy and creative 2022. Cheers Susan Feniak
I started this painting ages ago, perhaps a month has gone by. The Christmas card assembly line has taken over my art space and my paying job has sucked up my time. I haven’t managed to get back to this painting to finish it. Between one thing and another there just hasn’t been enough hours in my days. Since I am looking forward to retiring soon I will have more time. Maybe then this painting will finally get my attention. Looking forward to it. Cheers Susan Feniak.
I have another painting started on my easel. Barely started. But here are a few progress photos. I have been doing so many floral creations lately that I decided it was time for a change. Cheers Susan Feniak. Acrylic on a 24″ x 24″ gallery canvas.
“Anfractuous”. Truly a labor of love, this painting is complete and drying on my easel. If you look up the meaning of the word anfractuous, you will understand why I gave this painting that name. I hope you like it. Cheers Susan Feniak.
Artist Susan Feniak. Acrylic on 18″ x 24″ gallery canvas, painted on all sides. This painting is officially SOLD.
