Embracing spring! It snowed where I live. On April 3rd? Seriously? Time to embrace spring. I have added a new mantra, “this too shall pass”, to my all ready over used, “avoid the negative by being positive”. I hope you like this wee chick surrounded by spring colours. Stay well! Stay home. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolor and ink on Strathmore Vision paper.
Wes is our son’s Boston Terrier. I think our granddaughter may have dressed Wes up for the photo that I have based this illustration on. Wes is a bit of a character and much loved. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolor and ink on 100% cotton paper made in Italy. The paper is a gift that I am having fun playing with.
It’s paint a bird day a.k.a. draw a bird day. Sooo I decided to post an old one of mine. We saw this stunning Macaw while in Antigua several years ago. Of course I had to do its portrait. Hope you have enjoyed your paint a bird day and are staying warm and dry. Cheers Susan Feniak
I would like to thank everyone for helping make 2019 a stellar year for me artistically. I had a lot of fun along the way. I am very thankful for your continued support with “likes” and kind comments. For those of you that liked my art enough to purchase it and hang it in your homes I am grateful. Here is hoping that 2020 is another creative year. With my sincerest wish that everyone has a happy healthy 2020. PEACE. Susan Feniak
“Cardinal Wreath”. Artist Susan Feniak. Watercolor and ink on Arches paper. A Merry Christmas to me painting. A friend gave me the antique frame a year or two ago and it’s taken me this long to decide what I wanted to create to put in the frame. The end result has added to my Christmas decor nicely. A keeper!
With apologies. It’s started. If I don’t start making Christmas cards they won’t get done. I know it isn’t even Halloween yet. No need to remind me of that fact. But a busy working person has to do what she can when she can. Here are the first of my 2019 crop.
