These are the commissions I worked on last week. Although small every piece counts. Every piece is important. Someone thought highly enough of my art to ask me to make them something special for someone else. Thank you. I hope the recipients enjoy them as much as I did in the creating. Cheers Susan Feniak

Three of my favorites Gretchen the giraffe , Sam the dog and “Why Me?” have all gone to a new home. This happened earlier in the month. They went with Trouble 2, Oh Oh 2 and Henrietta. They will all keep each other company. A good thing I have a lot of other favorites to keep me company.
“Oh Oh!” Artist Susan Feniak. This is the second time I have painted Oh Oh. Once again this was a special request and has all ready sold. The original version of Oh Oh was a greeting card. Too small for the buyer. Not to mention I wasn’t sure if I still had the card in my inventory. So a new and bigger one had to be created. No problem. It is up to me to keep my clients happy. And I do try very hard to keep everyone happy. I hope Oh Oh makes you smile too. Daniel Smith watercolors and ink on 9″ x 12″ Fabriano paper. Mat to 11″ × 14″
“Henry” has a “Henrietta”! I couldn’t bare to part with Henry. He is part of the menagerie that hangs on our livingroom wall. So when someone asked if they could purchase Henry I said that I would try to create another one. That’s the story behind Henrietta and how she arrived. There can be no two Henry’s. He is truly a one of a kind. I am pretty sure the person getting Henrietta will like her as much as we like Henry. Watercolor and ink on Fabriano paper. Susan Feniak
Have you ever done a painting that you or your partner couldn’t part with but someone else wanted to buy? That has happened to me several times of late. I find myself doing remakes. Wouldn’t you know it the remakes are more lovable then the originals. Or so it seems to me. Sometimes. Here is the new version of “Trouble?” Or Trouble 2. I do like this version as much as the first. Bonus. A commission a.k.a. special request. Watercolor and ink on Fabriano paper. SOLD.
Meet “Libby”. My latest commission. Golden acrylics on 8″×10″ canvas board. Libby is an English Setter. Her Mom loves her very much. Enough to have a portrait of her painted. Admittedly painting a beloved pet portrait is no easy task. I am pleased the Mom loves what I did. Artist Susan Feniak.
“Good Life”. A commission I completed last summer. Meant as a surprise Christmas present for the recipient I could not post this until now. Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Acrylics on 12″×18″ canvas.
Am I on some kind of cloud dreaming? Another painting of mine just SOLD at Gallery One Fifty in Sicamous. “The Stand”. I am beyond thrilled! Thank you to the new owners and thank you to the gallery. Diligence and patience eventually pay off.
“The Proposal” original art by Susan Feniak. Acrylic on box canvas. This was a commissioned piece I did earlier this summer. Ordered as a wedding gift by a lady I have never met. I have thanked her profusely for her support. I hope the wedding has taken place and that it is now safe for me to share this. Otherwise the gift will now longer be a surprise! Have a beautiful art filled Monday. Cheers! PEACE
