Another one on the easel….WIP

This week I decided to revisit another painting that I did years ago. That one was titled “My Pink Pond Lillies”. That painting has long since found it’s forever home.
I haven’t got a title for this version yet and as you can tell it’s still very much a work in progress. It’s interesting for me to see how much my style has changed or not. And if I have improved or not.
All that being said this painting was requested by someone who may or may not have been serious about that request. When people ask me to paint something I don’t think they realize the time and effort that goes into each piece. Not to mention my heart and soul. I have to charge accordingly. Sometimes that price comes as a bit of a shock. Compared to some artists my prices are not unreasonable. And I can’t give my heart and soul away. Think about it that way. It helps.
When finished this painting will be $300.00

I like how you start in red as your undercover color. Your water lilies are beautiful! And yes, your price seems reasonable to me. I think it is interesting how our painting styles do change over time. 🌸

That’s got some drama to it… an eye catcher for any gallery. Your original title was just right, not sure i can suggest a better.

Thank you David. I will probably give this one a different name from the first. Can’t have that many of my pink pond lillies floating around. 😊
