Away, saying hello to 68!

As you may have guessed, I am away. We are in Mexico for the next while.
I few days ago I said hello to 68 and celebrated with my toes in the sand and a margarita in my hand. Maybe more then one margarita. But who is counting?
If I have time for art I will post it. I brought cards to work on while here.

Well… I’m thinking about it 🙂 It’s in February, so I have to be quick 🙂 Do you remember your 40’s some say, that those years are hard and after 55 it’s getting better, cause dropping what others think, and start to live as you want 😉

I remember every decade. In my 30s and 40s I was a hard working mother and wife. I don’t know where the energy came from or where it’s gone. I suppose 55+ it does get a bit easier because you can begin to live your own life. We didn’t start traveling until we were into our 60s. We wish we were able to sooner.

We don’t travel, I did, but I don’t like it now… Maybe later. Now, all the hustle with kids and health issues, work, etc.. Sometimes I think, “When the house will be finished…”, “When kids will grow up..” But I guess we need to start living now 🙂 Have a lovely time in Mexico 🙂

Remember to take time for yourself. Other things can wait.
Travel has gotten complicated. I don’t like airports but once I get to where I am going I can relax and it’s worth all the hassle.

Thank you for the reminder—it’s so true that other things can wait, but taking care of ourselves can’t. I completely understand about travel—it’s a whirlwind until you reach your destination, but the peace and joy once you’re there make it all worthwhile. Take care, too, and I hope your next journey is as relaxing as it is rewarding! 😊
