Still on hiatus

Hola from beautiful Ixtapa Mexico. Yes I am still on hiatus. Believe me this extended vacation was needed. Anyone that knows me personally will understand what that means. If you follow me on my social media accounts you probably have a good idea of why I am needing this escape.
I did manage to borrow some paper and paint from a friend and whip up 4 cards for a fundraiser. But otherwise I have been taking a break from my creative endeavors as well as my other responsibilities.
When I return home I am looking forward to getting back to my easel. There is an abundance of inspiration here for me to delve into. Photos galore and ideas rumbling about in my head. My fingers are starting to get twitchy. A good sign.
In the meantime I hope you are having a good winter. Stay healthy.
Cheers Susan Feniak
On hiatus…a.k.a.MIA

Hola from Ixtapa Mexico. I am on hiatus for the next wee while. Sadly I haven’t felt like painting lately. That means no blog posts for me to share. Maybe when I return I will feel refreshed and ready to be creative again. In the meantime I will post some photos of our surroundings and adventures. That iguana was one handsome dude, a real poser.
And yes that is a rare photo of me. I am notoriously camera shy. My husband has permission to take photos of me and I am not deleting all of them. At 67 I have finally learned that I look okay. Seriously, that body image thing is an issue.
Take care. Cheers Susan Feniak
Sights and colours of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo….

You will have to imagine the sounds. Eventually this wonderful escape will have to come to an end. But we will enjoy it while we are here. Reality will rear it’s ugly head soon enough. Cheers Susan
