Its the middle of the night and I should be sleeping but no. So here I am and it is time for you to meet “Haggis MacBagpipe”. He is here to wish you a Happy Robbie Burns Day!
Way back when, in my high school years, the ‘70s, ugh, I never had any change left in my wallet for buying greeting cards. So I made the cards myself. Out of necessity I invented or created a gaggle of creatures and critters along the way. There were plenty for me to choose from and they were suitable for any occasion. “Haggis MacBagpipe” is a true original expressly for Robbie Burns Day. A card I more then likely presented to my parents January 25th circa 1973. Memories……

Yes, better to get up and do something than toss and turn. Sleep seems to be elusive lately for everyone I know.
I like hand made cards. Cute! (K)

Thank you Jill. Home made cards say exactly what one wants them to. Making them the best gift indeed.

LOL! That’s funny! There’s a huge Robbie Burns Day celebration in my hometown of Vancouver, but not so much where I live now. 😀

Thanks Teresa! I haven’t been to a Robbie Burns Day celebration in years. I have been known to put on my kilt and kick up my heels!! LOL Is that Vancouver BC?

That is a long ways to go for a celebration…maybe you can pair it with vacation one day (although who wants to vacation in Vancouver in January? LOL!). High five, fellow Vancouverite!

Thank you Laura! I don’t know, some sleep would be a good thing too. 🙂 But yes art is a good alternative.
