This year I am determined to embrace the beauty of winter. Which is a stretch for me. I am trying to see snow as a thing of wonder, noting details, patterns, colors and trying to find it not so dismal. Not something cold and wet that I have to wade through and shovel. Perhaps something that I can smile about. I am trying!! Hope you enjoy “Winterlude”! Cheers Susan Feniak
I snow scenes, especially looking back in spring!

How true. It is nice to move on from such things! I much prefer sunshine without snow.

I like the contrast in this, Susan. You captured what I see when I look out the window following a heavy snowfall. So fresh! So new and clean!

Thank you Leslie! Considering I am surrounded by snow for months I am not sure why I haven’t painted many snow scenes. A fresh snow fall is rather pretty.

Beautiful snow. It’s always so white and quiet when it first snows.

Yes it is peaceful during and after a snow fall. That is if it isn’t a snow storm of course. 🙂 Thank you Carol.

Wonderful Susan, it’s the calm before the slam of wicked winter weather. What a beautiful snow scene – the trees filled with the white fluffy stuff, makes me want to walk the path and enjoy the scene.
