After several paintings in a row that were time consuming and detail oriented I decided to let fly with a pallet knife and paints.
This painting is the result. I had fun smearing and spreading paint around the canvas. Creating lots of texture. It was a much needed change.

Painting water is a challenge – I like the colors you chose and how you created waves. Working with a pallet knife is so much fun!

This painting was therapeutic. I needed a change from the detail oriented painting that I have been doing of late. The pallet knife is a wonderful tool.
