Let me reintroduce myself. This is me, Susan Feniak.
Artist Statement
Susan Feniak is a self taught Canadian artist who is an “Exhibiting Member”, (formerly known as, “Active Member”), of the prestigious Federation of Canadian Artists.
Susan and her family have lived in the Salmon Arm area of British Columbia since 1969 and she has been painting since 2009.
The beauty of the Shuswap inspires Susan. There are often lakescapes or landscapes of local scenes on her easel. Sometimes floral arrangements, seascapes or whimsical birds and animals will make an appearance. Wherever her vivid imagination takes her.
Susan uses acrylics or watercolours to make her creations. Her “one of a kind” hand painted greeting cards are ever popular.
Susan hopes that her art makes you smile. Her wish is to make this world a better place through art.

That is my updated and revised artist statement. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and visiting my website.
Cheers Susan

Hello Louise! It’s very odd that you are showing as “someone”. Thanks for stopping by. Silly things do happen.

Many thanks. I wanted to keep the reader from loosing interest. Ergo short and to the point. I am never sure whether a reader wants to see the aging camera shy artist or not. But sometimes putting a face to something helps. What can I say….

I am camera shy myself so I don’t often post photos but social media mavens say it is essential for artists to post our selfies periodically. Things change so quickly on various sites that it’s hard to keep up. I don’t even have time for videos and “chats” on Instagram but I see artists who are quite successful when they add that form of communication. A photo of myself now and then will have to do. Nice to “see” you!

Thank you. It would be nice to see you too. You comments just show a “someone”. Sadly that means that I don’t know who you are. I appreciate you taking time to comment. Social media can be a full time job! I haven’t made a “reel” or video yet. “Threads”, no thanks. “Stories”, rarely. Guess I am behind the times.

I don’t know why I am showing up as anonymous. It’s Louise. (And I don’t know how to correct that…but I will try something different next time and see if my logo appears. Thanks Susan.
