“The Sun and Moon” Sold πŸ”΄

Sold πŸ”΄ “The Sun and Moon.” Or El sol y la luna. The latest painting drying on my easel. One of my favorite places is Zihuatanejo Mexico. A fishing village on the Pacific coast. This painting is my depiction of two Zihua fishing boats, known as pangas, resting at anchor. Normally at the end of the day these boats are hauled up onto the beach. But I wanted to show how beautiful the water is so my boats are at anchor. I have painted many boats without issue but these two started out a bit wonky. I am pretty sure I fixed that. And before anyone mentions it, yes I broke a rule and placed the boats dead centre!! No rule of thirds in this one. It’s about the colors, ocean, and boats. My loves.

Artist Susan Feniak. Acrylic on a 16″ x 20″ gallery wrapped canvas. Asking $225.00 cdn. Plus shipping.  If you are interested please email sfeniakart@gmail.com
