September was a busy month…

Carey, my husband

September was a busy month. Carey, my husband retired! At 71 years young it was time. Anyway it was cause for celebration. We also celebrated his birthday. In between all the celebrating I was busily filling an order for 10 of my “one of a kind” Christmas cards. Sorry, but it is that time of year again.  When an artist has to plan and come up with fresh ideas for Christmas. In between that creativity I was making more cards to sell at a store here in Sicamous called, Willow. There was the limited edition 2025 calendars to design.  And more painting and creating with Mara Muse, my favorite piece so far this year. I didn’t include a photo of it but you can check it out on a previous blog.

So, as you can see September was a busy month. Now I have to settle down and start the long process of getting our houseboat ready for winter. We will be moving to town soon and closing At Last for the season.

Hope everyone had a fabulous summer. Cheers

Artist Susan Feniak.

I did note all your soggy days. July and August were warm and sunny here. Wind has been a real issue this year, lots of it. Not our favorite, no sails on a houseboat! Fingers crossed that October brings you some sunny autumn weather.
