I got into the zone and when done these poppies were the result and it was supper time. And no supper made! Perhaps I should name the painting my escape.

This year my art will be hanging at the Sicamous branch of the Salmon Arm Savings and Credit Union for the month of June. “Raven Trail Boardwalk” will be one of the paintings I plan to show. If you are in the area I hope you have time to visit the various Sicamous businesses that participate and have a look at all the lovely art work done by the artists of the Eagle Valley Brush and Palette Club. “The Blue Bike” original art by Susan Feniak. Lately I have been surrounded by people I refer to as “me” people. Self centered self serving folks that do not realize there is a consequence for their actions. So today it was important to escape to my happy place. You know get into the zone. This painting is the end result. Have you ever stepped back from what you have been busily creating and known you have “done good”? It’s a giddy feel good thing. I haven’t had that feeling for awhile but today I know I “done good”. See me smile? PEACE
