The prompt today March 12th was Bees. I went with the far cuter non stinging variety, Bumblebees. Fuzzy and often seemingly drunken in appearance. They are usually over loaded by the pollen they have so busily been collecting. A sure sign of spring! Buzz….. Hopefully there is progress being made in the salvation of the world’s honey bee population.

Buzzing with spring beauty!! Awesome painting Susan ~

Lovely looseness, and the yellow is just what I needed this morning. (K)

So cute, and they truly do appear to be drunk sometimes. Maybe from too much bee-r 🐝🍺😁

Lovely work! I have just read “The history of bees” – an ward winning novel by Maja Lund and loved it. Now I look at bees with different eyes. 🙂
Happy Easter 🐣🐰🐣

Charming! They are endangered. I have lots of bees in my garden. I try to make it a happy place for them! Your sketch and watercolor is wonderful.
