“Bees” #worldwatercolorgroup

“Bees” original art by Susan Feniak.  The prompt today March 12th was Bees.  I went with the far cuter non stinging variety, Bumblebees.  Fuzzy and often seemingly drunken in appearance.  They are usually over loaded by the pollen they have so busily been collecting.  A sure sign of spring! Buzz…..  Hopefully there is progress being made in the salvation of the world’s honey bee population.

So cute, and they truly do appear to be drunk sometimes. Maybe from too much bee-r 🐝🍺😁

Lovely work! I have just read “The history of bees” – an ward winning novel by Maja Lund and loved it. Now I look at bees with different eyes. 🙂

  6. Charming! They are endangered. I have lots of bees in my garden. I try to make it a happy place for them! Your sketch and watercolor is wonderful.
