I have been working on a new series of greeting cards. Actually having fun with simple seaside designs. There are 7 here. Artist Susan Feniak. Watercolors on Strathmore card stock.
So far there have been singing birdies, dancing penguins, polar bears, funny reindeer portraits but a Christmas giraffe? You bet! Gretchen is all ready for Christmas. Artist Susan Feniak. Original art. Water colours on Strathmore card stock.
July 3rd. I love seashells and have a nice collection from wherever we go. My favourite would have to be the large conch from Belize. Since I have all ready done a painting of it I give you this assortment. Rather quickly done, original art by Susan Feniak. Holbein Artists water colors on Strathmore Paper. 6″×6″
“Bees” original art by Susan Feniak. The prompt today March 12th was Bees. I went with the far cuter non stinging variety, Bumblebees. Fuzzy and often seemingly drunken in appearance. They are usually over loaded by the pollen they have so busily been collecting. A sure sign of spring! Buzz….. Hopefully there is progress being made in the salvation of the world’s honey bee population.

“Hairy Beasty” #WorldWatercolorGroup original art by Susan Feniak. Holbein Artists Water Colour on Strathmore 140lb Cold Press 11″ x 15″ paper. I also used my Faber-Castell PITT artist pens and white GellyRoll pen. Pretty sure I want to get myself some more colors of GellyRoll. A beige would look better then white in this particular painting. I am inspired by this highlander. Most likely because I love all things Scottish. Hope you have a grand week. Cheers! PEACE
“Seashells” #WorldWatercolorGroup Todays prompt, seashells. Here I have done an oyster shell, moon snail shell and driftwood. A vignette from my coffee table. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Cheers! PEACE

#WorldWatercolorMonth July 29 “Dragonfly” We are expecting company this weekend so I had to keep this one quick and easy. I cut out a 4″ x 6″ piece of paper from my Strathmore Watercolor 140lb cold press paper pad and made this into a frame-able postcard.
#WorldWatercolorMonth “Dragonfly” original art by Susan Feniak. Holbein Artists’ water color on Strathmore paper. I used my Faber Castell PITT artist pen to do the wings.
#WorldWatercolorMonth July 17 “Red Bike” A flash back to a favored bike. As a child I was treated to a brand new bike of my very own, once. It was a beauty. I loved that bike. A very quick sketch while taking a break from work this day. Hope you are having a lovely Sunday. PEACE

#WorldWatercolorMonth July 13 “Blue Eyes” Another first for me today. A cat! I should say due to yet more time restraints this sweetie was created rather quickly. I think I would like to paint more cats and dogs. I can see they would be a lot fun, especially their facial expressions. This one can be for my sister, the lover of kitty’s.

#WorldWatercolorMonth July 12 “Day Lily” Today I went out to the garden and saw that my Day Lily’s were all in bloom. I decided they were a worthy subject for my painting of the day. Definitely challenging enough!! Hope you are having a beautiful day. Peace
