Hot Mess Or?

And now for something completely different. My first attempt at painting exclusively with a palette knife. Normally I don’t tackle abstract painting either. Asking a lot of myself with this one. I can’t decide if I like it or if it’s a hot mess. Probably because I don’t know much about absract. There is a lot of texture you probably can’t see. All this being said I rather enjoyed the experience. Golden artist colors on 18″ x 18″ box canvas.

I could tell it was trees right away. I like it, the texture words really well. (K)

Abstract art has always been a puzzle to me. In yours, like others have said, I can definitely see winter trees.

  6. It looks like tall pines just after a snow. Not a Hot Mess at all.

  7. Certainly not a mess! I imagine it as a forest in the brightening light after a late autumn snow shower has passed 🙂 I think it is very pretty.
