#WorldWatercolorGroup, #Draw a Bird Day, November 8. “Mallard Duckling” original art by Susan Feniak. The WorldWatercolorGroup prompt for today was actually “Cappuccinos”. Since I am not a coffee junkie I opted for Draw A Bird Day instead. This duckling is a Mallard. My inspiration is from a photo by Bill McMullen that I found in a Canadian Wildlife Federation calendar that arrived at our door this past week.

“Fun With Flamingo’s” #WorldWatercolorGroup This started as fun with splattering paint and squirting water at it to see what would happen. When I added pink one thing led to another and I ended up with Flamingo’s. A bit of whimsy which I rather like. And I had fun too. Hope these guys bring a smile to your face. Cheers! PEACE

It is the 8th day of the month and time for Paint a Bird Day!! Or is it Draw a Bird Day? For me it is paint a bird day. This is one I did a couple of years ago of the Killdeer chicks Sproink and Frisk. In case you didn’t know it Killdeer chicks are one of the cutest things out there and a joy to paint.
