“Fun With Flamingo’s” #WorldWatercolorGroup This started as fun with splattering paint and squirting water at it to see what would happen. “Wisp” #WorldWatercolorGroup Its been a while since I last visited the Killdeer family. Sproink, Goink, Frisk, and Doink have long since left the nest. This year I see “Wisp” has joined the family and no doubt several more chicks are not far off. If I keep my imagination working perhaps there will be more put down on paper or canvas. #WorldWatercolorGroup Favorite Flower is the prompt for today. Being a retired florist and avid gardener I love all flowers but if I had to pick one it would have to be tulips. Perhaps because to me they signify the end of winter and the coming of spring. After a long winter warmer sunny days are always welcomed by me. Cutting bundles of tulips from the garden and having vases of them about the house, bliss!!
For this #WorldWatercolorGroup sketch I did not pre-draw anything preferring to keep everything where the paint brush took me. One thing led to another so splattering and smiles ensued. #WorldWatercolorMonth July 27 “Free as the Bees”! As in I did this totally free hand without drawing until outlining everything and adding buzz fuzz with my Faber Castell PITT artist pen at the end. There is the perfect amount of spatter and fun bits to keep me happy. Although these guys resemble bumble bees the hard working honey bees are in trouble so maybe this will remind everyone to protect our bees. They aren’t free. Have a fabulous day! PEACE
