#WorldWatercolorMonth July 16 “Sweet Nothings” Because several of you said more paintings of animals please. Meet Princess and Duke. I will leave it up to you to imagine who is who. I thoroughly enjoyed creating this one. Just a couple of months ago I would have avoided both painting animals and water colors. Who knew? Thank you Charlie O’Shields for all your encouragement.
These two, whispering sweet nothings should have me all caught up with my #WorldWatercolorMonth paintings again. Original art by Susan Feniak. Koi Water color on 12″ x 9″ paper.

#WorldWatercolorMonth July 15 “Blue on Blue” Or should that be wet on wet? That is how this painting was done, wet on wet. And that is how our boating weekend went, wet on wet!! I am a day behind because I hit my limit for data on my phone. Darn no internet or wifi whilst boating, limits a girl. I do hope you are having a fantabulous weekend.

#WorldWatercolorMonth July 13 “Blue Eyes” Another first for me today. A cat! I should say due to yet more time restraints this sweetie was created rather quickly. I think I would like to paint more cats and dogs. I can see they would be a lot fun, especially their facial expressions. This one can be for my sister, the lover of kitty’s.

#WorldWatercolorMonth July 6 “Time For Tummy Tickles” A shortage of time today has me visiting the Hedge Hog family again. This wee fellow wanted some tummy tickles. I can hear him giggling.

Today I have gone back to the beach for a walk. I look out onto the water and there I see an Otter! He is having a lot of fun frolicking in the waves. Have you ever been entertained by an Otter? It is a joyful experience.

Here we will come across the most common of sights, sheep. They are everywhere, its their grass, their hills and even their road. These two were only slightly curious of our approach so apparently people are common here too.

#Naturedoodlewash More tenacity!

There are grassy bits, gardens and ramparts to walk about on so I hope so. They have some lovely rose gardens at Edinburgh Castle as well. My doodlewash today is based on a photo my Aunt took while at Edinburgh Castle. It speaks volumes to me. A long since silent battlement is home to a rather tenacious yellow daisy. Think, a canon used to be fired from that window. Guns can be silenced. Peace.
