#WorldWatercolorMonth July 27 “Free as the Bees”! As in I did this totally free hand without drawing until outlining everything and adding buzz fuzz with my Faber Castell PITT artist pen at the end. There is the perfect amount of spatter and fun bits to keep me happy. Although these guys resemble bumble bees the hard working honey bees are in trouble so maybe this will remind everyone to protect our bees. They aren’t free. Have a fabulous day! PEACE

As #WorldWatercolorMonth nears the end I will have to say I will miss it. That being said I am sure Mr. Charlie O’Shields will come up with another stellar idea for next month. Something for us all to look forward to.

Of course it helps I am in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean. Grand Turks Caicos. By now all of you should know I love the water. Whether it is some far away winter escape or here on the sunny shores of the Shuswap. Most photos of me involve the water some where. So why not paintings too?

#WorldWatercolorMonth July 20th “Blue and White” I have only missed two days so far this month. Not bad. This will be my 225th painting posted on my blog, with over 12ooo views and 3000 visitors. I have come along way since starting out on my painting adventure in 2009. I am enjoying the adventure and meeting so many new friends.
