A wee painting to share today. I am inspired by all the flowers and blossoms of the moment. Our hotter then normal spring has everything out in bloom. Its going to be done and over with before it is supposed to even start!

Strawberries! Recently I bought a large basket of strawberries and we have been thoroughly enjoying them for the past several days. No cake, no biscuits, no angel food cake either. Being well behaved and healthy by having them with yogurt. Aren’t we being good?

In my quest to introduce more fish into our diet let me introduce you to ground salmon wrapped with a fillet of sole. Garnished with fresh dill and parsley from our herb pot. I have also made you some rice pilaf and broccoli. Please help yourself to the salad. Cheers! Oh darn I have forgotten the fresh lemon wedges. Pardon me while I go get them!

Ever since I can remember a peanut butter and jelly or honey sandwich along with a glass of milk out of my blue glass has been a staple for me. With all the peanut allergies out there these days I am afraid I would have starved if it was that way when I was a child! I simply would not eat anything else. My parents would treat the family to a restaurant meal and I would ask for a peanut butter sandwich. It is a family joke. Honest. Thankfully I have come a long way since those days but I will still have myself a lovely gooey peanut butter sandwich when nothing else will do. Oh and the gooey-er the better. And you don’t ever cut it, one must rip into it and savour. Yum.
