Happy Easter

I have been home from Mexico for ten days now. I apologize for not posting something sooner than this.

You see my dear Mum died while we were away. At the good age of 96, darn near 97. She lived a good long life. Sadly I have to admit it was time for her to leave us. Her life had become more about a lack of quality rather than quantity. I watched her failing for several years and it was difficult to witness. In her younger years she was a strong, vivacious, outgoing woman. Always giving to the community and her church. She managed to out live so many. I miss her.

Anyway I have been busy dealing with estate matters. Anyone who has ever dealt with that will understand what I mean.

I have cleared off my art desk and hope to get back to creating. I have several ideas rumbling around in my head. My fingers are starting to twitch in anticipation.

In the meantime I wish you, my friends and followers a Happy Easter.

Cheers Susan Feniak

Belated happy Easter

Belated happy Easter! Theodore the Easter dog appeared on one of my card creations the otherday. I meant to post Theodore on all my social media sites but somehow missed my website. I hope he makes you smile. Another tortuga made an appearance and a frog enjoying the shelter provided by a magnolia. Can you tell I am still having fun creating my “one of a kind” greeting cards?

Embracing Spring

Embracing spring! It snowed where I live. On April 3rd? Seriously? Time to embrace spring. I have added a new mantra, “this too shall pass”, to my all ready over used, “avoid the negative by being positive”. I hope you like this wee chick surrounded by spring colours. Stay well! Stay home.
